The Saudi government has announced that it will allow all its citizens to travel internationally after January 1, 2020. However, effective September 15, 2020, the government has allowed "exceptional categories" of residents and citizens to travel.
In the wake of easing restrictions that were put in place to stop the spread of Corona Virus disease. The Bahrain airport authorities have made a new announcement. Starting September 4th, 2020, Bahraini citizens, residents, GCC nationals and citizens, and those eligible for visas on arrival are now allowed to enter the Kingdom.

As lockdowns ease around the world, authorities in Bahrain have also allowed private employers to hire employees from abroad. Employers can now apply for new work permits as The Labor Market Regulatory Authority will start accepting applications for new employees from 9th August 2020 after a five-month suspension.
