Keeping in view the pace of the IT, Saudi Arabia also opens the first Saudi International Exhibition and Conference for Internet of Things (IoT). The exhibition started on 29th January 2018. It is a major step which supports the Saudi Vision 2030. The vision2030 has allocated a lot of budget towards the IT sector. It has given more opportunities through this exhibition for the youth of Saudi Arabia to think and innovate using technology and IT.

The exhibition is at Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center. With this exhibition Saudi Arabia is emerging in the region with more investment in the IT sector. It may be the first step digitizing the nation says, manager Fahad Algarni.

The KSA government is trying to invest a lot in the IT sector. This exhibition is also complementing the plan to expand the broadband internet services to far flung remote areas by the year 2020 by almost 70 percent. The major cities have access to the internet, but with this plan by 2020 the remote areas in Saudi Arabia will also enjoy fast broadband. It will make the whole nation a digital nation.

The manager of Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center also said that the aim of this exhibition is also to explore and introduce latest internet of Things technologies. The exhibition is for the next three days and will open more opportunities for the future of IoT industry in KSA. This exhibition is like a starting point of the IT deals of the future.
